Jamco acquires Aerospace Technologies Group by Bain Capital

Aerospace Technologies Group (ATG) has signed an agreement to supply window shades for Emirates’ latest Boeing 777 cabin upgrade programme. The agreement, announced at the Dubai Airshow this week, extends the long-standing relationship between ATG and the carrier and strengthens ATG’s presence in Dubai.

ATG already supplies electric window shades across Emirates’ aircraft, including the airline’s A380, Boeing 777 and A350 fleet. Onboard the Emirates’ A350s, ATG’s aerBlade shades are part of the cabin across all classes.

ATG says that the company has expanded its facility at the Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub in Dubai South to meet the needs of the programme. Mario Ceste, ATG CEO, said the expansion of the Dubai facility delivers on the company’s strategy to keep production and support close to key customers: “The recent expansion of our Dubai facility is delivering on our strategic vision for bringing the people to the work and keeping the source of supply close to the point of use.”

“We value our role as key supplier to Emirates Airline and our strong partnership was a key factor in our decision to increase our presence and investment in the UAE.”
