AERQ has launched AERENA Experience Studio, the ground infrastructure for its modular and open IT platform AERENA. The new digital cabin solution will bring web application and e-commerce standards to the aircraft cabin, providing airlines with a unique digital onboard experience.

The AERENA Experience Studio shortens content processing times from 60 to 90 days to less than a week, aiming for a lead time of 48 hours. Additional features include day-to-day UI configuration, a simulator for remote preview and virtual testing of passenger UI and apps and a detailed overview of system health, acting as a “one-stop-shop” for configuring ads inventory, sourcing and editing advertising campaigns for the aircraft.

“[AERENA Experience Studio] will bring several benefits for airlines in the management of their digital onboard experience,” said Arnd Kikker, Co-Managing Director, AERQ. “This will result in an improved adoption of digital onboard offerings to passengers’ needs, thereby driving their satisfaction.”

The platform will be accessible via aerena.com on a one-login-only procedure, allowing quick access for airlines.

“AERENA Experience Studio is all about data-driven decision making and driving rapid experimentation like A/B testing,” added Son Yob (Louis) Pak, Co-Managing Director, AERQ. “The data analytics capabilities are designed in a way that airline teams can immediately make use of actionable data and pro-actively apply changes to passenger experience to maximise passenger satisfaction and revenue generated on the AERENA platform.”
