Air Astana has activated Media Carrier’s Media Box, to provide its digital media library, following a three-month trial.
The MyPress Digital Media service, enables passengers to download content to their personal devices from over 1,000 titles in 20 languages before or after flight at https://airastana.com/global/en-us/Experience-Air-Astana/MyPress

Jacke, Managing Director of Media Carrier. “With digital tools like our media box, airlines can offer their passengers first-class service and added value, which is of great importance especially now during the Corona Pandemic,” Jacke continued.
“During the time of pandemic, the new MyPress service is especially important, since it helps reduce the risk of a coronavirus spread,” said Air Astana Project Manager, Aigerim Zhambyl. “Thanks to the partnership with Media Carrier, a huge number of regularly updated newspapers and magazines are available for reading directly from personal devices. The new service will also reduce wastepaper and fuel consumption, as well as optimize pre-flight preparations.”
Air Astana passengers are able to access digital content, which includes titles such as the Financial Times and the International New York Times, via various touch points including the website, a pre-flight e-mail, at mobile/web check-in and in the Air Astana App.
This allows passengers to start reading their preferred media before their departure. All publications are then available to the reader in PDF format in the familiar layout and in the full scope of the print edition and can also be read conveniently offline.
