airBaltic, a Latvian airline, has announced that it will be using Swiss AviationSoftware’s (Swiss-AS) Amos Airline/MRO Edition software on its fleet.
The fleet consists of 48 Airbus A220-300 aircraft, with plans from the company to expand to a further 100 single-type aircraft fleet.
“We are glad to launch this collaboration with SwissAviation Software on implementing the AMOS solution at airBaltic,” said Andris Vaivads, SVP Technical Operations at airBaltic. “We at airBaltic are consistently working on a pragmatic, yet ambitious business development strategy, and AMOS is one of the tools to drive future of technical operations.”
airBaltic has stated the decision behind choosing AMOS as its software grew from an alignment of core goals and the attributes of Swiss-AS’s technology, with increased operational efficiency, improved data accuracy and optimized use of resources.
Vaivads added, “We are pleased with the quality of services currently being provided by SwissAviation Software and are optimistic with improved efficiencies and new business opportunities to be brought by introduction of AMOS introduction.”
