airBaltic tail finairBaltic, a Latvian airline, has launched a meal pre-order concept in Economy Class, with ten meal and drink options for passengers to customise their in-flight experience.

The pre-order system will enhance meeting customer preference and dietary needs, allowing them to order drinks, snacks, and meals. Alongside the new system, new meal options are available, including hot sushi, duck confit, and ravioli with mushrooms.

“We are continuously enhancing the in-flight experience for our customers,” said Natalija Kuzmina, VP Customer Experience & Insights at airBaltic. “Our popular Economy Class meal pre-order service has been upgraded to offer new meal options and the ability for customers to customize their orders as they wish. Whether passengers want just a snack or cake with coffee, or a full-course meal, they can enjoy the flexibility to create their ideal meal combination. Furthermore, the new meal pre-order concept will significantly reduce waste, promote sustainability, and support a more environmentally friendly approach.”

Passengers may place orders during ticket purchase, however next year, customers will be able to add meals to preexisting bookings via airBaltic’s website.
