Latvian carrier airBaltic will be offering a new Economy MINI ticket fare from this week, which it says is an entry-level option for customers travelling with only a personal item.
The airline’s Economy MINI includes one personal item of up to 40 x 30 x 15 cm and offers a simple, streamlined entry-level option for short business trips, weekend getaways, for example. Economy MINI passengers pay only for what they need and additional services such as a cabin bag, checked baggage or meals can be added at booking.
The Economy MINI brings airBaltic’s fare structure in line with the model that is now standard across European aviation.
Thomas Ramdahl, Chief Commercial Officer of airBaltic said: “With Economy MINI, airBaltic continues to develop its fare portfolio to reflect how customers travel today, introducing a straightforward entry-level fare that customers can flexibly tailor with additional services if needed. This new fare complements our existing fare structure and ensures every customer can choose the option that best fits their journey. Passengers travelling light benefit from a more accessible price point, while those who need more can add exactly what they require.”
