AJW Group, a provider of aircraft component parts, repair, and supply chain solutions, has signed a PBH (Power-by-the-Hour) contract with Modern Logistics, a Brazilian cargo operator.
The two companies had a previous contract dating back to 2017 for the B737CL freighter, however the new agreement extends to cover Modern Logistics’ fleet of Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Through the partnership, AJW Group will provide component coverage and repairs from AJW Technique, the company’s maintenance facility based in Montreal, as well as logistics and recommendations on home base stock requirements.

AJW Group are a member of ALTA (Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association) and have recently opened an office in Mexico City. The company provides repairs and solutions for over 1,000 airlines globally.

In other news, AJW has appointed Wilmer Lopez as new Managing Director of AJW Latin America. Lopez joins the team with 24 years of experience in the aviation industry, and will manage operations from the new Mexico City office.
