All3Media International, an independent TV programming distributor, has announced that it has signed a new in-flight entertainment content deal with Virgin Atlantic.
Virgin Atlantic’s entertainment platform, Vera, will host many beloved brands and star-studded shows including all episodes of The Celebrity Traitors (9 x 1 hour) which features a star-studded cast of 19 celebrities including Stephen Fry, Charlotte Church, Jonathan Ross, Nick Mohammed, Cat Burns, Alan Carr, Celia Imerie and Tom Daley. In the series, contestants try to detect ‘The Traitors’ in the group.
All3Media International says the series concluded its run with an incredible 15 million faithful viewers and is set to return next year for a second season.
The deal with Virgin Atlantic also includes A World of Calm (4 x ½ hour) starring Idris Elba, Nicole Kidman, Cillian Murphy and Keanu Reeves. The stars lend their voices in an immersive visual journey, designed for passengers to enter a world that lets them meditate, relax and unwind on their journey.
Other programmes include Nadiya: Anxiety And Me, an hour long special from Raw, presented by Great British Bake-Off winner Nadiya Hussain where she sets out to break the stigma that surrounds her condition. The programme is said to be intimate and candid, capturing Nadiya’s humour and warmth as she sets out to learn more about herself.
All3Media International’s scripted slate also includes returning favourites such as the sixth series (7 x 1 hr) of All Creatures Great and Small. The company says it is perfect escapism for in-flight audiences, bringing to screen heart-warming tales about a young vet, his family and the wonderful cast of human and animal characters based in the glorious Yorkshire Dales.
ITV1 hit Trigger Point’s (6 x 1 hour) third season is also available, led by the multi-award-winning Vicky McClure. The thriller series promises an action-packed binge watch and follows bomb disposal officers, known as Expos, who dedicate themselves to keeping London safe from explosive devices and terrorist threats.
