American Airlines has launched a new collection of onboard amenities in celebration of its 100th anniversary, including amenity kits, pyjamas, and slippers, which will debut in April 2026.

Firstly, the airline is offering three new history-themed amenity kits: Astrojet, Silverbird, and Forward. Astrojet features an orange lightening bolt to symbolise the early days of the airline, while Silverbird uses a silver finish and tribar stripe to represent the glamour of the golden era. Meanwhile, Forward uses angled stitching, representing the airline’s flight symbol, to create a futuristic feel. The kits contain a range of new products depending on cabin class, such as Joanna Vargas sheet masks and eye patches, foldable hair combs, and centennial eye masks and crew socks.

“As we celebrate a century of connecting customers to the world, we wanted this milestone to feel personal the moment someone settles into their seat,” said American’s Chief Customer Officer Heather Garboden. “Every detail in these centennial kits and pajamas pays homage to the eras that shaped us — from the bold optimism of Astrojet to the refined glamour of Silverbird and the forward momentum guiding our next century. They’re our way of saying thank you to the customers who make every journey possible. Whether they’re travelling for a long‑awaited vacation, a meaningful milestone or an important business trip, we hope these touches bring comfort and reflect how honoured we are to welcome them on board.”

The new limited-edition line of pyjamas uses the same three-era storytelling model. Each set is a deep blue colour, with different logos for each era. Additionally, the airline is updating its in-flight slippers to a closed-toe design following customer feedback.
