American Airlines has announced even more in-flight catering updates for 2026, following last week’s addition of Pecan Lodge barbecue to the menu.

Starting from 1 February, the first addition will be Athletic Brewing Company’s Free Wave Hazy IPA, marking the airline’s first non-alcoholic beer offering. The airline is also adding Q MARGARITA MIX, Q TONIC WATER, Q CLUB SODA, Zing Zang Bloody Mary Mix, and LaCroix Sparkling Water in Lime and Berry flavours to its drinks menu.

Main Cabin customers on domestic flights will have access to the new chicken salad and Boursin cheese wrap served with coleslaw and lemon shortbread, and passengers on flights between the US and international destinations will be offered a range of new entrees, such as barbecue chicken with grits, beef fajita bowl, hoisin chicken for Premium Economy, and chimichurri chicken, vegetable yakiniku noodles, and honey mustard chicken for Main Cabin.

For passengers travelling from the US to China, Japan, and Korea in Premium Economy or Main Cabin, the new options include orange chicken, Korean barbecue noodles with shiitake mushrooms, beef bibimbap, beef noodles, egg fried rice, scrambled egg with tomato compote, spinach and cheese, Dakdoritang braised chicken, and vegetable yakiniku noodles.
