Astronics Corporation grows sales by 14% in 2024 second quarter

Astronics has appointed Nancy Hedges as its new Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Hedges will assume the role upon the retirement of CFO, David Burney, on 3 January 2025. She is currently Controller and Principal Accounting Officer at Astronics.

“I feel extremely blessed to have spent the last 29 years working as part of the team of talented and principled people that have achieved so much at Astronics,” said Burney. “I will retire assured that the Company is in a strong position to continue its recent success, and I am highly confident that Nancy will provide the strong leadership necessary for solid execution with the opportunities ahead. Astronics has an exciting future and I look forward to watching its progress.”

Hedges joined Astronics in 2014 as Principal Accounting Officer and Controller, and has held related roles such as  Director of Accounting and External Reporting at Dayco, and business experience from her position as Senior Manager in the Accounting and Business Advisory practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. She graduated from Canisius University with a B.S. in Accounting.
