Caribbean Airlines is continuing its partnership with Bluebox Aviation Systems by installing the Blueview wireless in-flight entertainment (IFE) across its fleet of ATR 72s and Boeing 737-NGs.
The airline initially deployed Blueview across its 737 fleet in 2018, which includes movies, TV programmes, music, games, and a moving map.
“We’re delighted to welcome Caribbean Airlines back to the Bluebox family,” said Kevin Clark, Chief Executive Officer, Bluebox Aviation Systems. “Their decision to expand Blueview across their ATR and Boeing NG is a further testimonial the quality and flexibility of our solution. We’re especially pleased that Caribbean Airlines appreciates our intuitive and passenger-friendly GUI design, enhancing the passenger experience onboard.”
The deployment of Blueview does not require large cabin modifications, and can provide payment processing, analytics, and content management along with the IFE solutions.
“Having previously experienced Bluebox’s reliability and user-friendly interface on our fleet, we’re happy to bring Blueview to our passengers, and to introduce it to our ATR fleet,” commented Caribbean Airlines CEO, Garvin Medera. £With the expansion of our network, and the ATR being used on more routes, it was important to introduce reliable IFE. The intuitive design is one of our favourite features, significantly enhancing passenger engagement and satisfaction onboard.”
