Bombardier has delivered its 1,000th super-midsize aircraft, a Challenger 3500 to JM Family Enterprises. The milestone aircraft was delivered at a special ceremony at the Challenger delivery centre in Montréal, where over 700 employees and guests were present.

The Challenger 3500 is popular for its low direct operating costs, high performance, and modern design cabin, with features such as voice-controlled cabin technology. The aircraft combines several features from the Global 7500, including its Nuage seats. In 2024, the Challenger 3500 was named the most delivered jet.

“Reaching the delivery of our 1,000th super-midsize aircraft marks a defining moment for Bombardier,” said Éric Martel, President and CEO of Bombardier. “This milestone is a testament to the dedication and exceptional talent of our employees, as well as the trust and loyalty of our customers around the world.”

All in-production Bombardier hold an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), and are the only business jets to do so. In addition to this, Bombardier covers all operational flights with Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) using a Book-and-Claim system.

Martel continued: “It holds even greater significance as we are celebrating with a client who shares our family values, entrepreneurial spirit, and commitment to the community. Challenger super-midsize aircraft have been a game changer in the industry as they defined a new business jet segment, and we are excited to continue building on this legacy.”
