Bongiovi Aviation and Innovative Advantage (IA) have announced a collaboration at the 2025 NBAA-BACE to bring immersive Dolby Atmos® surround sound experience to the private and business jet market.
According to the companies, the collaboration merges Bongiovi’s transducer audio technology with IA’s cabin backbone to set a new standard for in-flight entertainment.
Leveraging Innovative Advantage’s expertise in robust audio and video distribution via their AVDS™ Node System, the AVDS distributed network delivers over five
hundred channels of crystal-clear, uncompressed multichannel digital audio and Hi-Def video with zero latency to every point in the cabin.
The distribution system feeds into Bongiovi Aviation’s immersive speaker-less audio solution, and utilising patented Digital Power Station (DPS) technology and hidden
transducers that turn interior panels into acoustic radiators, Bongiovi delivers recording studio quality sound.
The new combined system is lightweight and fully scalable audio solution, providing passengers with 360-degree, three-dimensional sound field for movies, music, and more.
