British Airways is partnering with Reckitt Benckiser, makers of the disinfection brand Dettol, as part of its updated cleaning protocols.
From March 2021, British Airways’ customers will have access to a range of Dettol products, that are proven to kill 99.9% of bacteria and Coronavirus (SARS-COV-2), in the air and on the ground. The airline’s updated cleaning protocols using Dettol products, have been supported by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
In the air, British Airways will be introducing a Dettol antibacterial hygiene wipe. Each customer will be handed a packet containing the wipe as they board the aircraft.
