Bucher has revealed that its newly designed booth’s centrepiece at Aircraft Interiors Expo will be a single aisle aircraft fuselage featuring several Bucher products tailored for the commercial aviation market.
Regarding the company’s products that will be at the show, Bucher says it will unveil a fully customised self-service counter developed for longer flights in single-aisle aircraft, showcasing the company’s adaptability to deliver tailored solutions and commitment to meeting unique client demands.
According to Bucher, another exciting innovation at the booth will be a twin-aisle aircraft center galley with integrated roller blind and branding elements. The Bucher Roller Blind merges Swiss technology with innovative design and is showcased for the first time within a galley unit. The tailor-made galley has many sophisticated features such as a distinctive branding element.
Other innovations on the Bucher stand will include a 16g bionic partition wall, recognised as the lightest of its kind; the now market-ready SkyBassinet following recent refinements; and a Class Divider, which provides enhanced privacy for passengers in premium cabin classes.
Enhancements to Bucher’s proven ATS Stretcher for patient transportation will also be demonstrated and include an Oxygen Medical Unit with single support in collaboration with partner Aircraft Completion Engineering.
Bucher’s ARCTICart is now going through test flights with several major airlines, with an upcoming announcement planned, and AIX visitors can experience half-size and full-size versions of the ARCTICart, which is the first in-flight service cart with high-performing thermal insulation.
Premium folding tables and cabin mechanisms, tray table solutions and high-end supports for tablets in the cabin will also be on display, including the “Olympia”, a Premium Swing-up Food Tray Table, which is characterised by its compactness, ideal for applications inside the armrest or in side-consoles.
Beat Burlet, Group CEO of Bucher, said: “These innovative products reflect Bucher’s ambition to develop solutions that enhance the passenger experience, promote airline brands, and reduce carbon emissions.
“All of Bucher’s products, solutions, and inventions are based on its guiding principle of Sustainable Solutions, and we are focused on continuing to develop and produce lighter and more reliable products that help airlines reduce their carbon emissions during operations.”
