For the fourth consecutive year, CabinSpace Live hosted by Inflight, held an extensive conference program at Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX), Hamburg, Germany, which occured from the 8th to 10th April, 2025. Our thought-provoking and hot-topic debate took place on Tuesday 8th April, in the CabinSpace Live Theatre.
Prominent industry figures from airlines, manufacturers and suppliers took the stage and discussed advancements, developments and key issues in Connected cabin solutions, In-flight connectivity, Equality in in-flight entertainment systems, Cabin refurbishment, the power of data and AI on flights, and Satellite launches and future capabilities.

Airlines have more choice now than ever when deciding which in-flight connectivity solution to opt for. Key industry experts such as satellite companies and antenna systems providers explain how airlines can choose the right fit.

Prior to joining Hughes in his current position, Reza was vice president of global connectivity at Carnival Corporation, where he developed and executed a multi-year technology strategy to optimize the onboard technology stack and enable the corporation to leverage satellite capacity from multiple sources simultaneously enabling a frictionless experience at scale while increasing revenue and guest satisfaction for the world’s largest cruise company.
Among many awards for excellence and leadership, Reza received the 2018 Euroconsult Smart Ship of the Year award for a record 3.174 Gbps of satellite bandwidth delivered to a ship at one time.
Reza earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems & Management Science from the University of Maryland and a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the Whiting School of Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University. He is also PMP certified.
Having joined SES first between 2000-2010 and most recently since 2016, he has held various managements roles in North America Sales and Mobility Market Solutions. In his most recent role as Vice President Market Development and O3b mPOWER Commercial Development Lead, Andrew was responsible for developing and executing the MEO Global Services (MGS) Government programme, using the O3b mPOWER system to provide critical resilient satcom capabilities for Luxembourg, the U.S, their partners and NATO.
Andrew has extensive experience in the satellite industry. Prior to SES, he worked with BDM International (now Northrop Grumman), PanAmSat, satellite operator XTAR, LLC, a Loral Space and Communications privately held company, and was an independent telecom consultant based in the Czech Republic.
A US citizen residing in the Washington region, Andrew holds a master’s degree from American University and a bachelor’s degree from the Catholic University of America. He has also studied at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland.
Mr. Milroy is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles, earning BSEE, MSEE, and Engineer (Ph.D. course, field, and examination requirements) degrees and is a graduate of the Hughes (Raytheon) Corporate Program Manager Development Course (PMDC) and Engineering of Systems Course (EOSC) curricula and the Executive Marketing Program at UCLA’s Anderson School of Business Management. He is the author or co-author of nine journal and symposia papers in the fields of Network Analysis, Circuits, Antennas, and Microwaves. He is the inventor or co-inventor of over forty-five awarded and pending patents in the fields of Electromagnetic Scattering, Materials, Microwave Devices, and Antennas. Mr. Milroy is a past Chairman of the Los Angeles Chapter of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (IEEE-APS.)

Louis holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and is based in Orange County, California.
Since joining Stellar in 2017, DJ has curated content for major airlines, including Qantas, Virgin Australia, and Thai Airways. More recently, he played a key role in securing and onboarding American Airlines, Stellar’s largest client in the U.S. In his current role, DJ spearheads programming and client service strategies across Stellar's portfolio, working closely with his team to create tailored IFE experiences. His efforts leverage Stellar’s strong relationships with leading content partners worldwide, ensuring that each airline's offering is both memorable and unique. DJ’s straightforward, no-nonsense approach, combined with his deep industry knowledge, makes him a key figure in the rapidly evolving inflight entertainment sector.
