CAE has officially inaugurated its first business aviation pilot training centre in Central Europe, based in Vienna. It has been open since April 2025 and now offers pilot training for Gulfstream G550, Bombardier Global 7500, Bombardier Global 6000, and Embraer Phenom 100/300s.
There is currently one Phenom 100/300 full-flight simulator (FFS) in operation as part of the Embraer CAE Training Services (ECTS) joint venture, while a Bombardier Challenger 3500 FFS will commence operations in October and a Pilatus PC-24 FFS will be available from the second half of 2026.
The centre measures 86,000 square feet, and in addition to the simulators and classrooms for teaching, also features self-serve kiosks, a barista café, and a pilot lounge. There is also maintenance training available, with type training, engine run and taxi courses, technical training, and personal development courses.

With the ability to train thousands of aviation professionals annually, CAE Vienna is ideally equipped and perfectly located to help meet that demand.”
