Founder & Co-CEO, Moritz Claussen has been awarded the TIACA Rising Star Award. The award celebrates his significant impact on the industry through innovation, leadership, and the ability to inspire meaningful change.
The award is a significant recognition for both Claussen’s personal contributions and cargo.one’s rapid progress in digitalising air freight procurement and sales since 2017. “It is a great honour, especially in light of the many leaders and innovations across the ecosystem,” Moritz Claussen commented.
“This award is really a reflection of the work our team performs every day to build a digitally integrated global air cargo community that puts freight customers first. It gives me great joy to see firsthand that digital freight today is firmly established as a cornerstone of the industry, and is delivering powerful benefits. We are more energized and focused than ever to deliver a new era in connected global air cargo.”
Moritz and his co-founders Oliver Neumann and Mike Rötgers have conducted years of extensive advocacy and education for both air cargo airline teams and freight forwarders worldwide, to help scale the vast gains that strategic infrastructure and tooling provide to the industry.
Glyn Hughes, Director General of TIACA said: “We are proud to award Moritz as the first TIACA Rising Star. Moritz’s passion, dedication and delivery reflect the best of what this award stands for — measurable industry impact, user-driven innovation, and the ability to inspire. Air logistics is at its heart a people-business, and Moritz continually builds relationships, enthuses and mobilizes stakeholders at all levels to effect meaningful change.”
