FlightPath3D and Cathay Pacific have launched the “My Journey” experience on board the carrier’s flights that seamlessly blends flight tracking with Cathay Pacific’s in-flight entertainment.
Combining real-time flight paths and map layers enabled by FlightPath3D’s API toolkit and widgets, the solution creates a captivating journey preview. The welcome screen takes passengers on a game-like tour of the flight converging entertainment with flight tracking, providing a customised preview experience similar to watching a movie trailer.
FlightPath3D has also enhanced the travel experience with a child-centric map that blends shared values of thoughtfulness and innovation.
