China Southern Airlines’ first A350-900 aircraft fully equipped with Recaro seats has entered into commercial service.
In total, the airline will take delivery of 20 A350-900 aircraft, featuring Recaro seating in all three cabin classes.
Business class is fitted with Recaro CL6710 seats in a staggered 1-2-1 configuration, giving all passengers direct access to the aisles. The CL6710 business class seat can be reclined into a full flatbed, and features an 18.5-inch monitor providing gate-to-gate in-flight entertainment.
This contract marks the first line fit program for the CL6710 seat on a A350 platform.
Premium economy and economy class are outfitted with Recaro’s PL3530 and CL3710, respectively. The PL3530 provides premium economy passengers with ergonomic seating positions including an individually-adjustable calf rest, more living space and additional stowage options at a 38-inch pitch.
The CL3710 includes a patented six-way headrest and neck support for both shorter and taller passengers, state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment systems and USB outlets.
