Delta and Spotify have expanded their partnership to offer passengers flying on Delta’s Viasat-equipped fleet free access to Spotify via personal devices until 19 January 2022.
The temporary extension builds upon the initial partnership, announced in September this year, under which Spotify has taken over the audio section of Delta’s in-flight seatback entertainment.
This in-flight content is licensed directly by Delta and is free for all passengers. It includes specially curated versions of Spotify’s most popular playlists—in the form of mixtapes curated by Spotify’s editorial experts—along with 42 select podcast series to choose from.
