Aeromexico’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr Andres Conesa, will receive the 2026 APEX CEO Lifetime Achievement Award at the APEX Awards Ceremony during the APEX FTE EXPO in Singapore on 19 November, the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) has announced.
The APEX CEO Lifetime Achievement Award recognises airline leaders whose careers have fundamentally transformed the passenger experience and advanced the global industry far beyond their airline. This year’s award marks the first time a Latin American airline CEO has received the award in the organisation’s five-decade history.
Dr Conesa commented: “It is a true honour to receive this recognition from APEX. APEX says that Dr Conesa has guided one of aviation’s most remarkable transformations, rebuilding Aeromexico into a reliable and globally respected customer-centric air carrier. The airline has earned recognition as the world’s most on-time global airline for record-breaking consecutive years as verified by Cirium and reached its highest customer Net Promoter Score (NPS) level among APEX Global Airlines in North America.
The airline also won the 2026 APEX Best Global Airline in North America Award as the first Latin American airline that has ever won the award.
