Following certification as baseline equipment on the Lineage 1000E business jet earlier this year, Embraer has completed its first retrofit with Gogo AVANCE SCS Elite.

AVANCE SCS Elite is an integrated cabin, inflight entertainment (IFE) and voice solution from Gogo Business Aviation that allows passengers to maximise the available bandwidth from any of their on-board connectivity options. Features include a one-touch CMS access for Cabin Management Systems via Gogo interface and in-flight maps, movies, TV, news, weather – via Gogo Vision (with content -offered in seven languages) updated automatically via Gogo Cloud.

“Full integration with in-flight cabin and entertainment systems allows for a seamless customer experience,” said Luciano Froes, senior vice president-marketing, Embraer Executive Jets. “We are committed to the adoption of innovative technologies that will deliver tangible value to customers.”

“We created AVANCE SCS to be a powerful way to integrate connectivity, entertainment and information to enhance and simplify the passenger experience,” said Mark Sander, vice president of OEM sales for Gogo. “Through our close partnership with Embraer, the AVANCE technology platform has been embraced for installation on several new production models including the Lineage 1000, as well as the Legacy 450 and 500 aircraft.”

SCS Elite supports and manages multiple data bearers, voice bearers and CMS, so the data and voice experience, according to Gogo, is seamless.

Single aircraft owner/operators can also use SCS Elite whether they have connectivity with Gogo or another provider.
