Embraer has delivered the first Praetor 600E to Flexjet, establishing the company as the fleet launch customer for Embraer’s next‑generation super‑midsize jet. Flexjet’s inaugural aircraft features Embraer’s Smart Window™, a 42‑inch 4K OLED display capable of video conferencing, high‑resolution streaming and providing real‑time external views through three fuselage‑mounted cameras.
The Praetor 600E was introduced alongside the Praetor 500E in February 2026, with both aircraft incorporating a series of cabin and technology enhancements. The Praetor 600E received triple certification from ANAC, FAA and EASA in April 2026, followed by certification of the Praetor 500E in June, clearing both aircraft for entry into service.
Flexjet and Embraer have collaborated since 2003, with several notable milestones, including Flexjet’s role as fleet launch customer for the Praetor 500 and Praetor 600 in 2019. In February 2025, the companies announced a landmark agreement valued at up to USD $7 billion, covering a firm order for 182 aircraft, options for 30 more, and an expanded services and support package. Delivery of the first Praetor 600E marks the latest step in that agreement, with Flexjet’s first Praetor 500E scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026, when the company will also become fleet launch customer for that aircraft.
