Embraer Services and Support has announced extensive plans for growth across the board, with initiatives in the Pool Program, MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations), AHEAD (Aircraft Health Analysis and Diagnosis), simulators and connectivity.

Carlos Naufel, President and CEO, Embraer Services & Support, said: “Our business unit has reached a US$ 3.1 billion record backlog in 2024, by offering the best-in-class agnostic services in key market areas such as MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul), Engines, Aerostructures, Training, Materials, Modifications, and Conversions. Embraer Services & Support aims to continue expanding its global footprint, strengthening its position as a growth driver for Embraer.”

The Pool Program allows Embraer to support airlines with technical support and provide component services, saving on costs in repair and resources. The programme has gained traction since 2023, with 180 E-Jets joining the network. It currently supports 66 airlines and Embraer intends to further grow the programme.

In MRO expansion, the company has added three United States MRO facilities in Dallas Love Field, Cleveland, and Sanford, with the European branch announcing that it will double its capacity for Executive Jets in Le Bourget (France). These expansions allow Embraer to further increase its Executive Jet maintenance, providing stability and cost-efficiency.

The AHEAD platform has also received updates, with a new fuel consumption module and optimised maintenance operations, improved repeater function and tracking of exceedance and adverse events. The platform collects data, such as degradation patterns, and uses it to prevent and predict maintenance on E-Jets. The continued improvements to this platform help to provide efficiency within E-Jet operations.

To keep up with the growing world of full-flight simulators, Embraer has announced three new Commercial Aviation simulators, in addition to two new Executive Jet simulators and a C-390 Millenium simulator. The locations of these are undisclosed as of yet. This announcement follows the previous addition of an E-Jet simulator in Singapore, and an Executive Jet simulator in Burgess-Hill.

Additionally, Embraer has joined the connectivity network by introducing Wi-Fi to more than 30 E-Jets, aiming to bring in-flight connectivity to fleets across the world.
