Emirates has introduced Dubai+, the first dedicated Emirati entertainment channel on its inflight entertainment platform ice, expanding access to UAE‑produced content across its global network.
The new channel features a range of Emirati programming, including drama, comedy, documentaries, family entertainment and podcasts. Dubai+ joins more than 20 established entertainment brands already available on the airline’s inflight system, including HBO Max, Disney+, Paramount+, BBC, CNN and Spotify.
The airline has also expanded its onboard content portfolio with the introduction of ice Opera House, a dedicated collection of opera, ballet and symphony performances. The update adds to an entertainment library that includes more than 3,000 movies, over 4,500 television episodes and up to 6,500 on‑demand channels available in more than 40 languages.
Alongside content additions, Emirates continues to roll out upgrades to the ICE platform. These include 4K and 4K HDR displays, enhanced live television, spatial audio, eye‑comfort mode, short‑form content discovery through iceMoments, and dedicated features for younger travellers.
The airline is also progressing the installation of Starlink high‑speed Wi‑Fi, with 55 aircraft now equipped with the connectivity service. The rollout is intended to complement the onboard entertainment offering by enabling passengers to remain connected during their journey.
Emirates is further introducing new Bowers & Wilkins noise‑cancelling First Class headphones, with deployment expected across most of the fleet by the end of 2026.
Overall, the latest updates form part of Emirates’ broader investment in passenger experience, combining expanded entertainment options, enhanced display technology and improved connectivity across its fleet.
