Emirates has launched a new range of children’s inflight amenities, featuring separate kits made for children of 0-2 years, 3-6 years and 7-12 years. The kits, featuring global exploration and diversity themes, are designed from sustainable materials and have safety certifications from Intertek in accordance with EN71 and Gulf toy safety standards.

Emirates’ baby and infant kits contain a reusable changing mat, diaper cream and cleansing wipes, a keepsake wipe-clean bib, a plush stroller and seatback toy as well as collectible ‘blanket buddies’; kits for children aged 3-6 years feature a trendy belt bag, larger backpack or duffle bag containing special headphones and a ‘Fly with Me’ activity pack featuring non-toxic colouring pencils and a range of activities; while 7-12 year olds will receive the same bags with “subtle and cool graphics” and headphones to use for the airline’s ice inflight entertainment.

The airline will additionally capture onboard memories with an instant Polaroid camera, available in a limited-edition photo frame as a souvenir, and will provide bookable bassinets for infants under two years old onboard Emirates flights as well as baby changing tables.

Other services include the continuation of the airline’s children’s meals; the award-winning inflight entertainment programme ice, featuring more than 100 kids movies, music channels and video games; airport services including priority boarding for families and free baby strollers; and a unique Unaccompanied Minors service for children aged 5-11 years who are travelling alone, providing the young travellers with a dedicated lounge featuring video games, free Wi-Fi, comfy sofas and children’s bathrooms.
