One of the key new features is Burgundy Breeze, a signature fragrance for the airline, created with Scentcommunication. With notes of sea salt, pink pepper, water lily, wood, and vetiver, the scent has been designed for the cabin to immerse passengers in Eurowings’ branding upon boarding.
Equally, atmospheric background music is now part of the boarding and deboarding experience, created specifically for the airline. The pieces are composed with sound effects that attempt to echo the feeling of a holiday, such as nature sounds and a plane taking off.
To please the taste buds, passengers will receive a branded sweet upon disembarking, with either a Burgundy coloured fruity cassis sweet or a Sky Blue peppermint option.
“We don’t just want our guests to feel safe and well looked after, we also want them to be truly engaged – with all their senses,” said Clemens Strauss, Head of Customer Experience, Marketing & Sustainability. “Small, thoughtful details make the difference here – they create tangible brand experiences.”
These touches follow the airline’s big announcement earlier this year that business class seats were coming to the cabin on select routes, with a clear focus on enhancing the passenger experience.
