F/LIST is marking a new phase in its cabin interiors portfolio at Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) 2026, with the expansion of its production and support capabilities into corporate helicopters. The move positions the Austrian company to support customers across corporate helicopters, business and private jets, premium commercial aircraft cabins and private residences, alongside its F/YACHTING brand and sister company HILITECH, which contributes lightweight and composite technologies.
Michael Müller, Managing Director, F/LIST Aviation, says: “Expanding into helicopter interiors is a natural next step for F/LIST. Many of our customers operate across multiple high-end interior environments, and with this addition, we can now accompany them across their entire ecosystem, whether in the air, on land, or at sea, delivering the same level of imagination, technological innovation, advanced material engineering, and consistent craftsmanship in every space. Customers now have a single resource for all their interior acquisition needs.”
Following its commercial aerospace debut at AIX 2025, the company now supports the full aviation spectrum, supplying high end materials to premium commercial airlines, business aircraft and corporate helicopters. The AIX showcase highlights its aim to create cohesive cabin experiences across different aircraft types.
F/LIST is also presenting Lightshifter, developed within its F/LAB innovation hub. The technology transforms wood veneer surfaces to reveal integrated illumination at the touch of a button, returning to a natural appearance when switched off.
“Our Lightshifter responds to growing demand for immersive, adaptable cabin environments,” explains Müller. “The technology enables designers to create dramatic bulkheads, monuments or feature walls without compromising weight, space or material integrity – an approach equally suited to VIP helicopters, business jets and premium airline cabins.”
Additional technologies on display include Real Wood Veneer 65/65, the first fully heat release compliant wood veneer for commercial aerospace, and the F/LAB Stone Inlay, which adapts real stone for lightweight, certified cabin applications. F/LIST is also showcasing a new lighting collaboration with SCHOTT®, integrating natural materials such as wood and stone into reading light housings through the SCHOTT® Opal Terra platform. The concepts can be tailored to match seat materials and colour palettes, either blending into the cabin architecture or acting as a design feature.
Together, these developments reflect F/LIST’s approach to creating adaptable, material driven cabin environments across multiple premium interior sectors.
