Moving map technology company FlightPath3D is celebrating its 10-year anniversary.

“We’re proud to have revolutionised the in-flight experience for airlines over the past decade and execute our mission to guide every flying passenger,” said Boris Veksler, Chief Executive Officer of FlightPath3D.

The FlightPath3D technology was adopted early on by Air France, KLM and Virgin Atlantic and other major airlines such as Cathay Pacific, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Air New Zealand, China Eastern and LATAM followed suit.

All Nippon Airways, Qatar Airways, Air China, and Lufthansa have also adopted the technology and FlightPath3D says its map is now viewed by 375 million passengers annually across 78 airlines.

The company has integrated its technology with major in-flight entertainment platforms and it is now accessible on any device and system. According to FlightPath3D, the company’s interactive route map called WhereWeFly inspires passengers to explore routes and book travel from the app.

FlightPath3D says it plans to transform flight travel by leveraging the latest advancements in data analytics and artificial Intelligence to create a truly personalised and seamless travel experience. The company is also expanding into airline channels such as websites, apps and even airports, including Heathrow, Houston and Edmonton.

“We’re pushing the boundaries of travel planning and creating a new standard for how passengers discover and book their travel, making the journey-planning process more seamless and enjoyable than ever before,” says Duncan Jackson, President of FlightPath3D.
