Gogo has received Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) from the FAA for the Gogo Galileo FDX antenna, enabling the company to aim to acquire a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for super-midsize and large aircraft types. Commercial service is expected to be introduced by late 2025.

“With this Gogo Galileo FDX PMA approval, we are demonstrating our continuing commitment to opening up a new world of connectivity for more aircraft owners and operators than ever before,” said Chris Moore, CEO of Gogo. “With the addition of the FDX to our portfolio of agnostic connectivity solutions, we can deliver consistent global connectivity that satisfies the diverse needs of the dynamic business aviation sector.”

Gogo has also achieved PMA for the HDX antenna, which can be installed on new aircraft or retrofitted as an upgrade.
