Gogo Business Aviation | Satcom Direct have announced the finalisation of a Memorandum of Understand (MoU) with Airbus that will allow Airbus’ ACJ Connect Link customers to adopt ATG and Gogo Galileo Half Duplex (HDX) and Full Duplex (FDX) terminals as retrofit options.
Should the agreement reach completion, a suite of Gogo | SD services including cybersecurity, crew training and 24/7 customer support. Gogo will supply Airbus ACJ operators with its array antennas that will integrate with the ACJ Connect Link solution, a process that requires minimal downtime. Airbus ACJ cabins will then have high-speed connectivity, flight deck services and IFE.

Following on from the MoU, Airbus is expected to work towards certification for the terminal integration and obtain STCs for the HDX, FDX, and ATG equipment installations. Paired with Gogo Galileo, the ACJ Connect Link will Airbus’ ACJ Connect Link will be able to provide seamless access to voice, internet, email services, video conferencing, gaming, and live movie and TV streaming from boarding to deplaning globally.
