Gogo has made its first appearance at Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) in Hamburg, using the event to outline its integrated approach to in-flight connectivity for business aviation and military/government operators. The company is presenting a portfolio that spans air to ground (ATG), low earth orbit (LEO) and geostationary (GEO) networks, designed to support a wide range of aircraft types.

Chris Moore, CEO of Gogo, said: “We are proud to be supporting the introduction of a business aviation zone at the 25th AIX. It’s an essential interiors show and gives us the opportunity to demonstrate the unique qualities of our ecosystem to a new audience. We provide solutions to support diverse aircraft types from small jets through to executive airliners and we want to optimise our presence to showcase the diversity of our portfolio and how we can tailor services for each client. We focus on optimising future-proofed technology to offer more customers a wider range of solutions to ensure mission-critical connectivity wherever they are in the world.”

The company’s multi-orbit offering includes Gogo Galileo, built around HDX and FDX electronically steered antennas operating on the Eutelsat OneWeb LEO network. The programme continues to grow, with 35 STCs across 34 aircraft types and additional certifications expected. Gogo’s Plane Simple GEO antennas, developed with Viasat (Ka band) and SES FlexAir (Ku band), provide broadband coverage through compact tail mount hardware.

For operators flying in North America, Gogo’s new 5G ATG service offers a high-speed option suited to smaller aircraft and regional missions. All systems incorporate cybersecurity protections, training and continuous global support.

“We pride ourselves on our cybersecurity measures and training and our approach to privacy,” said Moore. “All of our systems collect only essential data, minimise retention, and protect sensitive information. Our objective is to deliver connectivity in the air that customers trust as much as what they experience on the ground.”
