Gogo has announced that Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. has received Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) approval to install the Gogo Galileo HDX system on the Gulfstream G650 and G650ER. The certification enables operators of Gulfstream’s flagship large cabin aircraft to equip the latest generation of low earth orbit (LEO) connectivity technology.
The Galileo HDX system features Gogo’s electronically steered antenna (ESA), a compact, lightweight and low power solution designed specifically for large cabin business jets. Powered by Eutelsat’s OneWeb enterprise grade LEO network, the system delivers high speed, low latency global connectivity that supports simultaneous video conferencing, streaming, communications and browsing across multiple devices.

Gulfstream’s tail mounted Under The Radome (UTR) installation minimises downtime, maximises performance and integrates cleanly with the aircraft’s design. The solution is backwards compatible with existing network equipment, fully integrated with the cabin, and approved for multiple radomes to provide operators with flexibility and long term value.
Operators will also gain access to Gogo’s suite of value added services, including advanced cybersecurity protections and global customer support. The Galileo HDX system is designed as a future proof platform, purpose built for business aviation and engineered for straightforward upgrades as technology evolves.
