Aircraft cabin interior products company IFPL Group has announced a major milestone – the production of the company’s four-millionth unit.
The company, which expands its product portfolio continuously, offers several products for aircraft cabins including in-seat power, LED lighting, passenger control units and safety products. The four-millionth unit, a triple pin 186546 Noise Cancelling Audio Jack was presented to Stella Nwaogbo, Bernard Demol, Lee Noakes, Tristan Carpenter and Steven Passmore of Thales by Geoff Underwood, CEO of IFPL Group.
Thales is IFPL Group’s longstanding key OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) business partner. The 186546 Noise Cancelling Audio Jack are designed to minimise cabin background noise and provide passengers with clear and immersive sound through the aircraft’s inflight entertainment (IFE) system, creating a more enjoyable journey.
“This achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and innovation of the entire IFPL team,” said Neil McGregor, Chief Operating Officer of IFPL. “Reaching four million units is not just a milestone; it’s a reflection of our commitment to excellence and sustainable growth.
“Our focus on product development and manufacturing excellence continues to drive us forward, ensuring that we meet the evolving needs of our partners and the aviation industry.”
