IndiGo has chosen RECARO Aircraft Seating products for the business class cabins of its A321neo aircraft.
The chosen R5 seats have diamond pattern quilted dress covers, advanced comfort cushions, backrests with privacy wings, oversized centre consoles with storage, PC power and USB-C charging outlets, and a tablet holder.

This addition is a first for the airline, having never before used business class seating in the A321neo fleet. The seats feature a 38-inch pitch and a light-weight design. The economy class cabins currently use the RECARO R2 seats.

45 shipsets have been ordered to initiate the change, as each A321neo aircraft contains 12 business class seats. Deliveries are scheduled to arrive in Q4 2024, and the installations are due to be completed by the end of 2025.
