Inflight VR to bring Felix & Paul content in-flight

Inflight VR has formed a collaboration with the EMMY Award-winning Felix & Paul Studios to bring a selection of the immersive entertainment studio’s productions to airline passengers.

Through the partnership, four of Felix & Paul’s productions will be available in-flight.

“The collaboration with Felix & Paul Studios will take the immersiveness of the passenger experience we provide to our airline customers to another level and positively impact their net promoter score,” said Nikolas Jaeger, co-founder and head of content at Inflight VR.

The productions on offer include Space Explorers 1: A New Dawn and Space Explorers 2: Taking Flight, Strangers and The People’s House and Inflight VR has completed an adaptation of Felix & Paul’s content to make it immediately available for all airline customers.

“We’ve taken audiences around the world in extraordinary settings; from the White House, to Eminem’s Detroit, to the plains of the Serengeti and the International Space Station,” said Félix Lajeunesse, Emmy-winning founder and creative director of Felix & Paul Studios. “We’re excited to team up with Inflight VR to take airline passengers on a journey to some of the most immersive experiences available.”

The productions on offer include the VR series Space Explorers about the new age of space exploration, produced with the participation of NASA and narrated by Brie Larson.

Strangers features a one-on-one encounter with musician Patrick Watson at his Montreal studio and was the winner of the 2014 Proto Award for Best Live Action Virtual Reality Experience.

While the award-winning, The People’s House provides a tour of the White House, giving the viewer a chance to explore the institution’s history, from the Obama administration to the events of the last two centuries. The production won the 2017 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Interactive Program.
