Bain Capital portfolio company, which aircraft cabin interiors company Jamco Corporation is part of, has acquired private and commercial aviation window shade systems company Aerospace Technologies Group (ATG).
ATG’s products include the aerBlade window shade system that enables passengers and crew control the window shades at the touch of a button, eliminating the need for flight attendants to check the cabin during take-off and landing. The aerBlade product is offered for widebody fleets and ATG’s window shades are also the standard option on Bombardier, Gulfstream and Textron Aviation’s (Cessna) business jet platforms.
