KLM opts to trial Immfly Buy Onboard Service on selected European routes

KLM has chosen to trial a buy-on-board retail service by Immfly, a digital onboard solutions company, on the carrier’s Porto, Lisbon, and Oslo routes.

The Retail on Board solution integrates a powerful suite of tools designed to enhance efficiency, improving passenger satisfaction and boosting airline profitability.

The product suite includes a Crew App, a user-friendly interface that simplifies onboard retail operations for crew members, ensuring quick, accurate, and seamless service delivery. The app provides real-time inventory updates, intuitive sales tracking and an easy-to-navigate design for hassle-free transactions.

It also features a back-end system offering centralised management and actionable insights for airline administrators, streamlining inventory management, sales monitoring, and reporting, as well as end-to-end payment management. Immfly says the company’s robust payment solution is PCI DSS 4.0 certified and supports various methods, enabling fast, secure, and reliable transactions. It also has advanced reconciliation and fraud prevention measures, meaning that airlines can reduce declined payments by up to 90% and maximise revenue per passenger.

“We’re tremendously proud to partner with KLM to bring their customers and crew the very latest in Retail Onboard technology,” said Immfly CEO Pablo Linz.

“This is an incredible opportunity to reinforce the power of retail to elevate the customer experience.”
