Korean Air has its pre-order meal service available to First Class passengers on international flights departing from Korea, starting in October this year.
The pre-order service allows passengers to choose their in-flight meals from 60 days to 24 hours in advance, using the airline’s app or website, and available on eight routes: Los Angeles, New Yor, Atlanta, San Francisco, Washington D.C., Paris, London, and Frankfurt. The service was previously only available for Prestige Class travellers and debuted in January 2023.
“We are delighted to expand this new pre-order meal service for our First Class passengers, offering them a broader selection and more control over their inflight dining experience,” said a Korean Air spokesperson. “This initiative not only elevates customer satisfaction but also improves the efficiency of our meal preparation process.”
The First Class menu features a variety of dishes, including Korean and Western appetisers, main courses, and soups. As an extra perk, several dishes will be accessible exclusively through the pre-order service, such as two vegan items.
Earlier in the year, Korean Air unveiled its redesigned Business Class and Economy Class cabins, created by PriestmanGoode.
