25 of Lufthansa’s Boeing 787-9 Allegris Business Class seats have now been certified, with the aircraft taking its first flight with the certified seats on 15 March 2026 from Frankfurt to Toronto. The seating option was certified for the Airbus A350-900 on 1 May 2024, however the process was delayed on the Boeing aircraft type due to differences with suppliers.

The remaining eight 787-9s equipped with Allegris are also already in service with approved seats as of today or will take off by Wednesday at the latest.

Allegris Business Class includes seat heating and cooling, shoulder sink-in, wireless charging module and a personal minibar in the suite. Personal devices can be connected to the entertainment system via Bluetooth.
