Lufthansa Technik will be providing comprehensive base maintenance support for Eurowings’ Airbus A320 family fleet, with two exclusive lines at Lufthansa Technik Budapest and two additional lines at Lufthansa Technik Sofia dedicated to fulfil different letter checks on about 40 Eurowings aircraft during the winter seasons in the coming years.
Matthias Gruber, Head of Technical Fleet Management Eurowings and Managing Director of Eurowings Technik, said: “Based on our long-standing cooperation, we are delighted about the new base maintenance contract with Lufthansa Technik, which will enable us to continue to guarantee the high quality standards in the technical reliability of our aircraft. It also gives us the flexibility we need to get our fleet ready for the summer during the winter season.”
