Luxair has selected RECARO Aircraft Seating’s R2 seats from the Embraer Seller Furnished Equipment (SFE) catalogue, marking the manufacturer’s first order based on the catalogue.
RECARO entered the catalogue in 2023 and developed a specific seating catalogue with Embraer for the E1 and E2 aircraft, showcasing the R1 and R2 seats.

Luxair opted for RECARO’s seats due to the availability of Astronics In-Seat Power Supply System among other features, and decided to have the R2 comfort package, which includes a six-way adjustable headrest with integrated neck support and additional cushion, tablet holder, and the latest ISPSS – Astronics Ultralite Generation 2 USB-C 60W system.

Aircraft delivery is expected in November 2025 with an entry into service in December 2025.
