MPSHybrid is based on MGR’s Multi-Postural Seating (MPS) super-premium product and uses advanced moulded foam technology to reduce cost.

MGR Foamtex has released details of its latest ultra-high comfort foam system, MPSHybrid, aimed at the long-haul and ultra-long-haul passenger.

MPSHybrid is based on MGR’s Multi-Postural Seating (MPS) super-premium product and uses advanced moulded foam technology to reduce cost.

According to the company, its experts have developed a composite foam system comprising four foam layers: Upper Low resilience viscoelastic foam; Middle Patented MPS pressure relieving design; Base Moulded DAX foam, and Lower base Attenuation foam.

MPSHybrid utilises a specially formulated liquid DAX foam in a moulding process to produce moulded foam components, which helps increase the speed of production, affords greater creative control and improves consistency which ultimately saves time and reduces cost.

MPS evenly distributes the passenger’s weight eliminating circulatory restrictions through a unique perforated design in the cushions mid layer. In laboratory testing conducted by Heartlands University Hospital, Birmingham UK, MPSHybrid was proven to increase circulation through the pelvic region by 30%, increasing the passenger’s overall well-being and biological condition through greater oxygenation.

MGR Foamtex claims MPSHybrid technology can also be designed into the seat back with DAX foam moulded components for the bolsters and MPS for the centre foam.
