In-flight entertainment, e-commerce and connectivity technology company Moment has launched a new next-generation ISP-independent Wi-Fi portal.
The portal has been designed to give airlines full control over their onboard connectivity, passenger experience and value generation, regardless of which company is their connectivity provider. Moment says it acts as a strategic digital layer between connectivity infrastructure and the services it enables, thereby enabling airlines to control branding, access models, service logic and the overall passenger interface.
“We are entering a new phase of onboard connectivity, where infrastructure alone is no longer a differentiator nor a competitive investment,” says Tanguy Morel, CEO and co-founder of Moment.
“The competitive edge lies in how airlines orchestrate the digital experience on top of it, turning connectivity into a platform for engagement, personalisation, and growth.”
According to Moment, airlines can test and refine offers dynamically, adapt experiences by segment or route and utilise connectivity as a lever for revenue generation, customer engagement and loyalty through flexible monetisation models.
