Neo Space Group, TCI Aircraft Interiors and Türksat announce multi-orbit in-flight connectivity framework

Neo Space Group (NSG), TCI Aircraft Interiors and Türksat have signed a tri-party agreement to establish a collaborative framework for next-generation in-flight connectivity, combining complementary capabilities across satellite capacity, multi-orbit connectivity and onboard systems.

The companies say the collaboration will support the Turkish aviation market while establishing a framework that can be extended to additional airline programmes in other markets by combining GEO, MEO and future LEO satellite networks.

The framework will support commercial and business aviation across line-fit and retrofit programmes and offers flexible deployment models aligned with airline fleet strategies and operational requirements.

The companies say that the first aircraft is expected to enter into service from Q1 2027. Türksat will act as lead contracted and prime, provides satellite capacity, ground and network HUB infrastructure and associated ISP services, satellite and system level monitoring. NSG delivers multi-orbit connectivity capabilities, including traffic management, routing and integration of satellite assets through its Skywaves platform;

TCI Aircraft Interiors is acting as the primary System Integrator and “Architect of the Digital Cabin,” will bridge the gap between the space infrastructure and the aircraft cabin. TCI will deliver end-to-end digital solutions.

“This agreement reflects our commitment to working alongside Türksat and TCI to support their airline customers with advanced connectivity solutions,” said Tarek El Mitwalli, Executive Vice President, Aviation of Neo Space Group. “Given the dynamism and rapid growth of Türkiye’s aviation sector, we are truly excited to support our partners. This collaboration allows us to both contribute to their programs and further enrich our Skywaves offering, strengthening our ability to serve existing and future airline customers with flexible, multi-orbit connectivity solutions.”

This agreement marks a significant step forward in our mission to deliver advanced and reliable connectivity solutions to the aviation sector,” said Dr. Selman Demirel, Deputy General Manager, Satellite Services at Türksat. “By combining our strong satellite infrastructure and operational capabilities with the innovative multi-orbit technologies of Neo Space Group and the integrated solutions expertise of TCI, we are creating a powerful ecosystem for next-generation in-flight connectivity. We are proud to support the growing demands of Türkiye’s aviation industry while contributing to a scalable framework that can serve airlines across global markets.”

“This agreement reflects TCI’s evolution into a comprehensive technology partner for the digital era of aviation. By working alongside Türksat and NSG, we are not just installing hardware; we are orchestrating a complex, multi-orbit digital ecosystem. Our goal is to provide airlines with a sovereign, flexible, and high-throughput connectivity framework that transforms the passenger experience through TCI’s engineering and software innovation,” said Mujdat Uludag, CEO of TCI Aircraft Interiors.
