Tamarack Aerospace Group has announced pricing for Tamarack AirConnect, its permanently installed in-flight broadband connectivity system developed for the Cessna Citation 525, 525A and 525B. The update follows strong operator interest since the product’s introduction in May, with reservations now being converted into priority installation slots through a deposit process.
Tamarack AirConnect is offered under two installation configurations:
• Expedited Installation — USD 84,000: Aircraft returned to service in three business days.
• Standard Installation — UDS 79,000: Installation completed in five business days.
A fully refundable USD 12,500 deposit secures a priority installation slot. Deposits can be cancelled at any time with a full refund.
Tamarack’s Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) application is advancing through FAA review. AirConnect has been undergoing active flight trials since March 2026, validating installation procedures and real world performance across varied operational conditions. A second customer aircraft has joined the flight test programme, expanding the dataset ahead of certification.
Tamarack will provide updates as certification milestones are reached. Once the STC is issued, installations will begin at Tamarack authorised service centres in deposit priority order.
Tamarack AirConnect is a permanently installed, aerodynamically optimised connectivity system engineered specifically for the Citation 525 series airframe. A fairing enclosed antenna assembly provides continuous sky coverage throughout all phases of flight, powering down automatically on the ground.
The system is designed to operate with the operator’s choice of LEO broadband service provider. Operators select and contract directly with their preferred provider. Tamarack develops, certifies, and installs the AirConnect hardware but does not resell satellite connectivity services.
A Citation CJ1 owner participating in flight trials said: “It just works. It is always on, it is fast, and I do not have to think about it.”
Jacob Klinginsmith, President of Tamarack Aerospace Group, said operator response has validated the company’s expectations, adding: “The reservations we have secured reflect genuine demand from experienced Citation pilots who understand the value of a certified, permanently installed broadband system. We are moving through FAA certification with confidence.”
Tamarack is now accepting deposits to secure priority installation positions. Scheduling will proceed strictly in deposit order, with installations commencing immediately upon STC issuance.
