SkyView by Aerohub brings passengers a seamless, interactive in-light journey

Aerohub has introduced a suite of new features in its flagship in-flight software platform, SkyView, that the company says takes the passenger journey to the next level and makes flying more engaging, connected, and enjoyable than ever before.

AeroHub is Maxposure’s next-generation in-flight entertainment and connectivity (IFEC) platform designed to transform the onboard experience.

The SkyView platform is completely hardware-agnostic and allows airlines to deliver a seamless entertainment experience whether the aircraft is connected or offline. According to Aerohub, it is certified by all major Hollywood studios and supported by Aerohub’s own Motion Pictures of America–certified lab facility, SkyView ensuring that every film, show, and piece of content passengers enjoy is secure, high-quality, and globally compliant.

Its advanced Content & Media Management system further empowers airlines to organize, schedule, and personalise content. Sameer Sirdeshmukh, Head of Aerohub, said: “Today’s passengers expect flexibility, choice, and seamless digital experiences even at 35,000 feet. With features like Airshop and Flight360, SkyView transforms the cabin into a space where travelers can be entertained, shop securely, and stay informed—all through an intuitive, future-ready platform that benefits both passengers and airlines.”

The new features include Airshop, which allows passengers to explore and purchase products right from their seats through the IFE screen or their own devices. It offers instant contactless payments as well as choices such as home delivery or airport pick-up. For airlines, smart inventory management and seamless supplier integration open new revenue streams while keeping the passenger at the heart of the experience.

Another new feature  is Flight360, which is a next-generation moving map that transforms flight tracking into an immersive journey. Passengers can view their route with interactive pan-and-zoom navigation, check real-time updates on altitude, speed, and position, and monitor their estimated arrival time—all presented in a visually rich, 360-degree format that keeps curiosity alive throughout the flight.
