Business aviation technology workflow platform STACK.aero saw significant growth in the uptake of its Business Operations System (BOS) digitalisation platform in 2025.
STACK.aero has reported a 56% increase in trips that were created using its technology platform compared to 2024. The company says 55% of its charter broker customers expanded their platform usage, adding customers and upgrading their subscriptions to the premium Enterprise level. In addition, of those brokers, 65% expanded their charter teams in response to expanding business supported by the BOS functionality.
When it comes to regions, STACK.aero grew in its core US, UK and Canadian markets by 40%, 44% and 100%, respectively and gained its first customers from the Asia-Pacific region.
“There is a clear evolving need for technology solutions in the charter marketplace to genuinely increase efficiency in a sector that has traditionally relied on manual workflows and disparate tools,” says Cat Buchanan, Director of Business Development at STACK.aero.
“As the sector digitalises, it is becoming more connected and integrated, which in turn is generating demand for further digitalisation and integration – in short, people are recognising the inefficiencies of siloed systems and no longer want to work in them. Digital platforms that synchronise functionality, data and dynamic information are becoming essential to maintain streamlined services.”
STACK.aero’s platform also saw broker adoption accelerate through 2025 as the technology increasingly proved its ability to add commercial value, significant competitive advantage, and demonstrable return on investment.
New in-platform tools coming in 2026 include a Jet Card Management feature that will allow jet card balances to be managed within the STACK.aero system.
Buchanan said: “Effectively, brokers and operators will sell a number of block hours to a customer, and as the customer flies they will be able to reduce the balance of the block hours purchased within our STACK.aero platform.
“We expect that a significant proportion of day-to-day broker workflows will be digital-first within the next 12 to 24 months, if not fully digital from end to end. The major shifts in working practices won’t result from dramatic technological leaps but from the steady replacement of analogue processes – Word documents, emails and PDFs, for example – by integrated, digital solutions.
“Customer expectations are driving the change. The new generation of charter brokers expect modern systems because they have grown up in a digital world, while their end clients similarly require smarter, digital charter quotes, better presented and delivered quickly and efficiently. The STACK.aero platform is uniquely placed to satisfy these requirements.”
